~The Gravity of Choice~
As a species, we are disconnected from nature, from each other and from our-Selves. We disassociate when pain is too intense to bear. We disconnect from others as a form of protection. We desensitize from our feelings by suppressing our emotions. And most beings are disenchanted with the miraculous Life here on Earth. A prevailing numbness and ever deepening disorientation prevails in our Culture as we cope with stress of the modern world. The psyche is an amazing aspect of the human matrix. It protects us from perceived danger and it also connects us to the Divinity. We do have a choice. That choice begins with Awareness.

The Science of Astrology is an ancient system of thought that connects the physical, emotional and mental realms as well the psyche of the indwelling spirit to Cosmic Attunement. The word Astrology (Astro-Logos) literally translates as “ the sound vibration pouring thru the Cosmos from the stars & planets”. Cultivating awareness to the cause and effect principles at work in your life is only the beginning of what this tool has to offer to those receptive to its Wisdom.

The current prevailing energy of the Cosmos resounds a clarion call of inevitable transformation abounding in the Cosmos to ALL hearts, minds and souls in this very moment. We are ALL waking up from a VERY long slumber. Humanity has experienced the illusion of separation from Divinity as we have journeyed thru the dark primitive ages, the reign of rationalism and reason, the dominating mechanical universe paradigm to the Conceptual Energetic and Holographic Universe that Einstein’s theories ushered in. In terms of evolution, the paradigm shift that is currently expanding is bigger than the shocking reality of the spherical Earth of the 1500s.

One of the most auspicious astrological events of the year is the Lunar Eclipse on the Solstice (21rst at 9:39PM Pacific time). This Full Moon is in the 29th degree of Gemini and Sagittarius. It is rich with potent cosmic energy for every one to absorb. Quite literally, we are all setting our trajectories in motion for the next few years with the choices we make now. Choose wisely. This is the hour to take the road less traveled in our lives and to choose growth over familiarity. There is a sense of finality and resolve that comes with this lunation on the 21rst. We are setting new conditions in place either consciously (with intention) or unconsciously (without awareness).

Planets and Stars send out waves of energy. They absorb magnify collapse and condense in their sacred dance within the Cosmic Clock. Our physical bodies are conduits for the electric-magnetic stream and our chakra system processes this energy while our neurological system transmits and filters the messages. Our organic Human system is as intricate as it is miraculous. When we tune into to our bodies’ wisdom and develop a deep love for our physical temple (which houses our soul), we are beginning to become aware of our multi-dimensional reality.

It is time that we upgrade our awareness and Re-Calibrate to Trust Hope Faith Peace and Love. There is nothing “fatalistic” about Astrological insights. I am merely the Astrological weather person giving the forecast to those of you paying attention. Don’t panic that Mercury is Retrograde all of this month. Be in formed not in fear. Prepare with foresight, patience and vigilance. Mercury is slow, deliberate and delayed in the cautious sign of Capricorn. Our thinking organically becomes more methodical and practical this time of year in the last Earth sign. It is a perfect time to slow down, back away from the holiday pressure cooker scenarios and focus on the pragmatic side of life.

Mercury rules travel, communications and electrical gadgets so don’t be surprised when there are re-adjustments and reconsiderations necessary to consider in these areas. This month does NOT promise the most fluid of travel experiences. BE prepared mentally and emotionally for probable delays and be mindful that resistance will only provoke more resistance and aggression. It’s very prudent to back up your hard drive now more than ever as the Internet is a direct reflection of Mercury and the Global mind made manifest. Since Mercury is in retrograde motion until December 30th spend this time preparing and planning new beginnings for the upcoming year. I suggest tapping in to the extraordinary New Moon cycle beginning on January 4th for optimal results.

Alluring Venus is lingering in intense Scorpio until January 8th 2011. She is tempting us to deepen our intimate bonds thru inciting our passion and sensuality. Be aware that the shadow side of this configuration is jealousy, suspicion and manipulation. To best utilize this force, regardless of your sun sign, is to be sensitive to your personal relating and financial strategies during the next 5 weeks. Notice your gut reactions to what you value, why you value it and where you have to be in control of an outcome. She will also encourage us to penetrate more deeply into ordinary events and to be more present and exude more magnetism in our relationships. There is nothing superficial about this combination.

(Saturn in Libra) Relationships are feeling the heat regardless of the length depth nature or intensity of the union. Saturn is provoking balance equality and truth into the structure of our relationships. Reciprocity is the order of the day. Where there is imbalance there are power struggles and dominance. Our relationships must be an expression our highest self or the foundation will crumble. We are all being exposed to our shadow, our suppressed or ignored parts of self. Love brings to the surface anything unlike itself and forces our relationships into cycles of contraction and expansion. Recognize your personal form of manipulation and projection for the maximum healing potential available during this cycle. Relationships will never be the same once Saturn has completed its journey through Libra in October 2012.

Unusual weather patterns nationally and globally remind us to expect the unexpected. We are not in Kansas in anymore, folks. Time is accelerating and we all feel it and know it. What took us a several years to process is currently being done is a few months or even days now. The time between the thought and its manifestation is shortened. The Saturn/ Uranus opposition has brought each of to the abyss of change versus resistance in our own lives. Don’t hang on to what is ending. Acceptance of what is (And what is not) is necessary in order to navigate the tides of change. The last of 3 Jupiter/Uranus conjunctions in Pisces occurs on January 4th. 2011 begins with a “Bang” on the Solar Eclipse (in Capricorn) and first new moon of the year. Write down your flashes of insight and your ingenious innovative ideas while they are still raining down upon you. I hope your Holidays are full of Magic & Delight.
