Hello:
My name is Justina Page and I am the founder and Executive Director of The Amos House of Faith, a nonprofit organization that supports children and families affected by burn trauma. My husband, six sons, and I experienced a horrific house fire which resulted in the death of my 22 month twin son Amos, and seriously injuring myself and the other twin. In 2007our organization established the After Burns Club for children and their siblings who have been burned or who have lost loved ones due to a burn tragedy. We are currently holding bi-monthly meetings at Shriners in Houston and monthly meetings at the Ronald McDonald House in Galveston. The program has been extremely successful! We are ready to move on to our second initiative which is to provide temporary lodging for caretakers of seriously burned patients on the John S. Dunn Sr. Burn Unit. We are in need of a home to provide this service. We are in need of a home (older or new) that would be donated to our nonprofit or if you know of any resources to help us out.
